Cant wait for this game out! If I had a ps3 I would probably preorder it at this price. Still hasn't dropped for the ps4 version unfortunately.

One right here. And if and when it dies I'll buy a replacement always :sunglasses:

I'll be using my ps3 for this. paying £15 extra for a half arsed port on the ps4 is for mugs.

I'm getting the PS4 version, but still play on my PS3 a lot. Resonance of Fate & Yakuza 4 / 5 have been my summer games and I still go back to Street Fighter 3, Wipeout & Virtua Fighter 5 regularly. Good consoles never die.
It could be worse, it could be 2008 and only releasing Persona 4 on PS2 (& later Vita).

Own PS3 and 4, still playing the classic library of PS3 game on PS+. Just because something isn't the latest model doesn't mean it is no longer worth consideration.
Sometimes I listen to old music and watch old films too.

There is literally no difference between the PS3 and PS4 version. If you have both consoles you can get the same game cheaper without any problem.
Exact same framerate, half arsed upscaling. The game was ALWAYS developed for the PS3, with the PS4 version being a half arsed port with no improvements whatsoever. I'll be getting the PS4 version anyway because I'm going to be game sharing with a mate, but yeah.

Persona 4 was released in Europe on the PS2 in 2009...

What's half arsed about it? Shorter load times, 1080p and a smoother framerate all seem worthwhile to me.

its only supposed to be upscaled, nothing has been done to improve textures etc

Fair enough, probably would have pushed the due date back even further(!), so I am more than happy to have a port :sunglasses:

The Steelbook Launch Edition, which is the free upgrade for standard copies while stocks last, is only for the PS4 version.

IS that the UK release date?
Also I would say having access to Remote Play makes PS4 version worth it - seems like Persona would be ideal for this feature.
