Can't record as it has no storage for the recording to go. The on demand duration varies massively depending on programme, some things can be on for weeks/months, while catch up programmes typically limited to days...

No record option but looks like all the top kids shows are available on demand going back to series 1.

I'm sure I'm the only person not to know this but I have Now TV on my smart telly - can I buy these and use the pass on that, but not use the box?

You could as you just get a voucher code in the box which you add to your account, but not sure why you would as the kids pass is only 2.99 a month, so you would be paying more than that to have a box you don't want?
