NPower have been offering Nest at a reduced price for their customers for ages but the 3rd Gen has now been offered at £129!
Considering that the going rate is a few coppers shy of £200 and Amazon occasionally drops the price to around £185, this has got to be the cheapest..... Discuss....

There's plenty of idiotic people on this site that vote based on whether or not they like products or based on their own opinion on what they should be sold at but this wasn't one of them. Quite the opposite I thought, offering a valid opinion as an owner and confirming the price was good. He has also helped confirm my thoughts that I don't really need it even at this price so in turn saved me some money!

I got mine in this offer several months ago via a friend who was Npower subscriber. it's the cheapest you can get for this thermostat (and I would say paying more may not be worth it). it's great but £180+ is too expensive.

So if it's the cheapest you can get it, its a hot deal then?
I don't think iPhones should be more than £350, but they are...
When an iPhone goes down to £350 in my view that's the price it should be but it still be a hot deal as it's expensive everywhere else.

Have you noticed much of a drop in bills?

Last time I checked this their Nest tariff was about £30pm more expensive - so it worked out more expensive than just buying it not via NPower.
(At the time they didn't make it clear that it was on a specially priced higher tariff)
So. please check before you switch

this isn't on a specific nest tariff, it's any tariff. I would of snapped one myself if I didn't already have a gen 2 nest

You just have to pay over the odds for your energy..

Just wanted to add NPower was the cheapest energy provider for me. (I am part of the MSE Energy Club). I think everybody's circumstances are different.

You do know i hope that npower are a pretty poor company with rubbish customers services. Its OK if you are already supplied by them but not if you are switching. I worked in the switching department and that departments systems are effectively broken.
