depends of they use it wisely, I bought my car with a 0% card, once it run out I then transfered it to a 0% balance transfer card much cheaper than paying finance

The only people likely to get hammered/caught are the types of people who don't know the difference between balance transfer and purchase cards.

Heat added, OP-this is the best 0% purchases card I've seen - I just applied for the Post Office card, which was the best, but it's only a month less.

as others have said, you are talking balance transfers this is purchase, pity you can't add back some heat, but you might want to delete your posts to avoid confusion. I have also made it clear in the OP :smiley:

Can't believe they are encouraging people to run up debts interest free for 28 months! So many people are going to get hammered/ caught out when the 28 months is up.

Good find, I use a credit card like this for big purchases and pay back monthly or when my annual bonus comes. It is an interest free loan so much better than paying 3 or 4% for an official loan. I do remember Tesco had a really poor and limited online account system, but this was a few years ago.
