Sorry to be THAT guy but I highly doubt it's actually 1GB (Gigabyte) per second, but most likely 1Gb (Gigabit) per second.

I have access to a very good 2Gbit Internet connection at work that is not stressed. Just want to point out that you will struggle find a site that can steam any kind of normal download to you more than a few hundred megabits. Downloads off Akamai usually top out at 250Mbits. Even the Netflix speed tester maxes out at 350Mbits. Being able to do anything over 500M needs TCP tuning.
Just saying. But enjoy the 1G :wink:

Click check availability and it just tells me about the up to 18mb fibre I can currently get but no option to register interest that the first page suggests. Shame
