Was just browsing the Xbox deals and decided to bite the bullet (already have a PS4 LOL) but came across this little extra.
Add the 500gb + free controller to the basket £199.99
Then add another white controller with the free Halo 5 game attached £47.99
You will get the 500gb console with black controller, 2x white controllers, quantum break, Halo 5 Guardians and £20 voucher.
(We like the extra controllers for ourselves as the kids tend to ruin them with sticky fingers!) Kids can have the black and adults can have the white LOL
Offer until 30th August 2016

It's a good job you said this was your opinion and not actual facts.

Good deal, even better if you sell the controller you get with the console to cex to bring the price down to £230.

was going to go for the pre order white console with fifa 17 for the same price but this looks to be a better deal. whats the difference with this console and the new s console?? what deal do you reckon i should go for?

The new s console can stream 4K and play 4K UHD blu rays, it's also 40% smaller and the power brick is inside the actual console.
If you have a 4K tv or plan to buy one in the near future then go for the slim, if none of the that stuff bothers you then get this.

So this is actually two separate deals and not a package or have I missed something? Would it not be better to just buy the console/extra controller/£20 voucher deal that has already been posted then buy the controller/Halo deal separately along with 3 bags of M&M's to take you over the £50 mark and then you get another £5 voucher.
Well Durr!
This is a deals site.
Fredi1428 was spot on to add the deals together at checkout.

But if you have a 4k TV like I do it streams 4k anyway as all 4k Tvs have decent media services built in. I also have a ton of space near my TV so I opted for the bigger console and pocketed a load of cash for more games and an SSD.
My TV also obviously upscales to 4k too as the games on the s are only upscaled at the console end rather than the TV. So only things I am missing is 4k blu ray and I haven't bought anything on disc in years, HDR which is mainly a marketing term just used on TVs with a high contrast ratio and high colour count, and about 5% performance in some games. Not worth the extra money in my opinion.

Ton of space near your TV?
You must have an AV unit the size of a scaffold round a tower block then. Even though I tried to minimise years ago by going with a one box hi-fi solution, the Arcam Solo, and flogged my Yamaha receiver selling my soul to utilise more space acquiring a heathen Yamaha soundbar there still ain't nearly enough.
The Sky HD box(the all black slim 1TB version) and the Solo leaves space for only two consoles to keep it all looking tidy. Had I not reluctantly sold my Yamaha that would only leave space for one console and seeing I own five it just don't go.
Sorry pal but why anyone would choose a three year old model which comes with that ghastly giant power brick over a brand new model with slightly better performance, is 40% smaller, is far nicer looking and comes with a standard lead, like NO power brick is beyond me.
Are you sure you're not having a bit of a troll here or something?

So does the "old" xbox one has the same performance/graphics to the new "S" version?
I have a 360 at present so not sure which to get. I know "scorpio" is coming out next year but will be very expensive and its all about 4k games. Will XBox one still be supported when it comes out? Comments?

As far as I know the new S console does have slightly better performance. As for the Scorpio, the Xbox One will still be supported. The Scorpio is still an Xbox One and they did say no games will be exclusive to that console

Microsoft have been saying that there will be no console exclusives, so anything that's on Scorpio will be on one.
if your in no rush I would wait for the s hype to calm and get one of them, they are a lot more stable apparently

the s will also have hdr for supported games, this is worth the extra cash if you have the right TV. upcoming forza horizon and gears of war will have hdr.
