Just to answer the questions that inevitably arise from this deal;
This is a data card. You cannot make normal calls or send texts with this sim. It can receive calls or texts. You can make whatsapp calls and messages with it.
I have a dual sim phone and use this as the data card and use a talkmobile sim as my calls/ messages card.
I can tether with this.
Others use this abroad for data roaming although I haven't.
Just pop it in and it works, no messing.
Three sim sizes come in pack so will fit any phone/ tablet/ dongle.
It is 24gig for up to 12 months from activation. You can use it all in a few months or use a little and then loads another time. It is not a monthly allowance. When it runs out get another one. If you go to three.co.uk website when using it it will give you how much is left on card.

So you won't need to feel that 22 quid for a 12Gb sim is "super expensive".

If BT's wifi network covers everywhere you need internet access, then it's a great fit.

However, that's rarely the case.

Bought this when it was posted a while ago for slightly more. Worked well, but quite slow in France. Mostly 2g or 3g. Nice for driving across France and getting cheap data though.

Apart from using this abroad, can someone tell me why anything is better than a basic bt deal, in order to be able to use the unlimited wifi/fon which comes with bt broadband deals, home or mobile ?
Isn't it worth five or ten pounds every month (depending on the exact deal) for unlimited uk wifi ? I don't really make paid calls or send texts and so am only ever interested in the internet aspect.

I know this has to be used within 12 months but anyone know how long you have to activate it? I was thinking of getting one (due to good price) but don't need it for a few of months - would the 12 months start from then? Ta!

Can it be used for tethering? I have a 3 mifi, could I use it in that?
