I've been looking for a new tablet to replace a Nexus 7 2013 missing out on the cheap Nexus 9 & Z4 deals
I've been watching this & it's now £199 instead of £249 @ Argos

Thanks to the OP for posting this, just picked up mine yesterday morning. after I hit 'pay' I felt buyers remorse kick in, but after opening the box and using it for most of this weekend, don't regret my purchase one bit.
loads of updates to get to Marshmallow, but it runs like a beast now. slapped the new nexus launcher on it to, looks slick. Also tested out screen mirroring with my Roku and it worked fast and watched an entire movie to.
Bluetooth and other connections work flawlessly, screen is great. Did some editing on Lightroom and Snapseed, definitely better to edit on than my Nexus 6P. Sometimes I transfer pics from my DSLR for quick edits to send to friends and this will probably be my companion on the days I'm out shooting with friends.
Only thing bad on this is the keyboard switching to Google Keyboard or swiftkey is highly recommended!!
Overall great tablet - worth the money.

Better and cheaper to get Nvidia K1 tablet, if you can find stock for RRP.

I have the z3 and z4 tablets, best tablets available right now imo. In need of new 7" tablet releases now though as this one is getting a little old.

All opinions I guess but tbh they're only the best when it comes to android tabs.
iPad Pro models have them best all day but they're at least double the price!

It's cheaper to get a K1 but it's not better.
Used both and the Z3 is just clearly better for most applications. Gaming is the only one where the K1 beats it but even then, it's not a huge difference.
Not to mention it's a lot lighter, thinner and waterproof. Battery life is probably the best I've ever seen on a tablet too.

Great tab, but is there any news on the long term support? Since Sony decided to discontinue the Z series (imho best Android tablet available at the moment), will they also stop updates at some point? And what is the future for Android tablets? And does it have 4G?
