If you're on the lookout for a cheap but decent garden light (not PIR), this gets good reviews. Nice and bright apparently, unlike many other 10W floodlights.
Also good if you're into insects, as this reviewer says: "I was wanting to venture down the moth collecting avenue and was unsure as to how get the collection started. Bought this bad boy and slapped it up on the gable wall and bingo, moths from around the world are flocking to marvel at its splendour."

if moths love light so much why don't they come out during the daytime?

Be very careful of Ebay ones, may dont have the earth lead attached to the casing internally so are a risk of electrocution , at least the Screwfix ones will be electrically sound
They also lie about the wattage as well

Trouble is LED doesn't kill them when they touch like Halogen

Yes, I've voted HOT. HOT. HOT too for the moths (as they won't get hot themselves with this cool LED )

I've often wondered this myself....
....stranger still, if they are attracted to light sources, why dont they just fly to the bloody moon ?

I've got a couple of the 10W pirs and want some more but searched over the weekend and none around Leeds.
Just trying to get last couple of these. Who else sells them?

B&Q had them, similar kind of price too, it could be worth trying the online site first
Try ebay... Much cheaper..
Recently bought 2 each of 100W (no PIR - £13 each), 2 each of 50W (with PIR - 14 each), 3 each of 30W (no PIR - 8 each)
My Driveway, Garage and garden are all lit up..

I got a 50w one of these installed recently from ebay, it so bright it attracts pokemon! Thinking to swap it out for something lower watt.
