How is this "one of the top drill going"? [sic]
Considering it won't even drill through a brick wall, it's hardly a top performer. Fine for occasional home use and about the same quality as you'd get from Lidl (which incidentally are about the same price as this).

These are more for using on hammer action I would say as I have one but a different make from Homebase. Good for breaking up concrete. If this is the same as mine, would never use for drilling as there is no clutch

If you are drilling small holes to feed cable through, you don't need a clutch & any old cheap SDS will work. Where it gets tricky for newbie's is if they use it for coring or breaking in a wall. If it catches, you had better hope you have a strong wrist This is where a clutch comes in handy.
For drilling through a wall to feed through a cable or even a pipe for outdoor tap etc, this drill will be perfect. For drilling into brick or concrete, an SDS is far superior to a standard drill.
