Don't vote cold for the deal because you don't like the product. The voting system is designed for people to vote whether or not deals are good, not whether the products are good. That's what reviews are for.

People with a life don't need more than 1GB RAM and 8GB storage...

Don't forget to also use promo code ukwelcome10, to take the price all the way down to £79.01. It is also worth mentioning that using the 2 codes on the 16GB storage/2GB RAM version makes it only £109.01, well worth considering.

The only people who think it's "perfectly adequate" are the mugs who just spent £90 on one and are trying to justify the bad purchase in their own minds when they could have got significantly better for less money.

Spend £10 on an SD card

so doesn't a memory card get used for storage with marshmallow

The SD card will not store or operate a lot of apps in Marshmallow Andropid 6 despite claims it does!
You still need internal memory. Minimum requirements if you are running a lot of apps is 2GB Ram and 16GB internal memory.
8GB was adequate a couple of years ago but not today with the latest apps
Spend more and get the MOTO G4 about £150

What he says in post 30^^^
Yes it does.
But that doesnt mean that every app will go onto that portion of the memory

Why do people keep on posting deals for the 1gb/8gb version of this phone?
In 2016, a phone like that is virtually obsolete and definitely not future proof.
This is just £90 down the drain.

For non-gamers it's a good deal. 1gb/8gb with an SD card never bothers me.

Its perfectly adequate for most normal people with a life. I agree its not 'cool' enough for pale teenagers with acne and no real-wold friends.
