I have been looking around for a decent cheap dual SIM smartphone to use abroad and see Aldi have this Medion Life E5005 on offer from 28th August for £69.99.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of information about the phone online, but seems to be decent specs for the price.

what does it mean by powerful quad core processor, is it 1.2 Ghz or less?
I would not buy it, but maybe that is interesting for someone. Some heat added.

Mine was fine until I fell off a chair and sat on it.
I, on the other hand, would never have a Samsung or iPhone.
I've never had one of them but would just like to join the "I've never had one so cannot judge them but they're rubbish" Looney club. :stuck_out_tongue:

in all reality how much extra would it cost manufacturers these days to put 2gb ram instead of 1gb? im sure for only a few quid more it would make these cheap phones much more pleasurable to use. get with the programme phone manufacturers!

Prospective buyers will want to know if it's sim-free or whether they are tied to an (expensive) deal!
