This just seems to good to be true - does anyone know anything about Thai Airways? Are they about to go bankrupt or do their planes always fall into the sea or something?
thai airlines are amazing i went to thailand in april and after a 12 hour flight i said id sit down and do it all again! amazing service cant fault

I love Thai Airways. Great service, and the 747s at least had fantastic legroom. I suspect the 380s might be different

flew with them on the way to Thailand was 11 hours and I managed ok x food is good polite air hostesses good latest films etc.

Thai have been in financial trouble for a while. I have a few friends who work with them who are trying to move to other companies.Although unlikely to go bust anytime soon, having flown with them I was not impressed. Staff sleeping in empty seats at the back of the plane, orange juice watered down, seat broken, late departures etc ......

They have the A380 on some routes and I was pleased overall with my experience. its the national carrier for Thailand and poor financial management which not unusal in the world of aviation!
