I tried to order one from amazon but after 4 weeks waiting I canceled and got it direct from droidbox with next day delivery (optional)

It's the UK seller droidbox. its rebranded by them I assume so it can come with a warranty? that was the only thing putting me off ordering from China.
everything about the device is gpd xd, it just has subtle droidbox branding in the firmware

Looks good, the blurb on the site says it can play certain pc games (I assume that's streamed), is there a subscription involved or is that over your own home network?

Ive got one of these from Droidbox - they do play Pc games via Dosbox Turbo and Scumm Vm.

so far I have downloaded and played resident evil code veronica, crazy taxi for the dreamcast and smash bros for the n64 they all play amazing.. code veronica is a bit jumpy on the opening cut scene but the game play is spot on plenty of options to change the quality of game play and smoothness of game play. so far played all 40 games I have downloaded from megadrive to ps1 and dreamcast
