The Bosch PSB 1800 LI-2 cordless drill is a professional for fitting projects. Be it screw driving, drilling or impact drilling - this cordless drill completes them ideally with its powerful 2-speed planetary gearbox. During work, you benefit from its handiness and low weight as well as from the maximum endurance of its 18 V lithium-ion battery.

Suits all my requirements except one, it only has a 10mm chuck... pass.

Anything bigger than 10mm you should be using an SDS drill.

I have this drill, bought last time it was on sale.
It is generally great all-arounder but one thing it is unable to do efficiently is dense concrete / solid bricks.
You can still drill those materials but in comparison to a corded hammer drill it is 2 minutes to 5 seconds... so if many holes to be drilled, just do the maths :-)

Would have thought that would be pretty obvious to most out there, that a mains electric drill is always going to be far more powerful than a cordless battery one..

The Bosch Pro Blue version isn't much more when it's on offer. Screwfix were doing a managers deal for £89 for 18V and that would be a better but (IMHO).
