Made by UMC (Universal Media Corporation) in Slovakia. The brand Blaupunkt is used under licence and doesn't realate to Blaupunkt other than the name.
If you are after a good budget TV it's a no brainer, I have this TV amazing value

I've had the Blaupunkt 43" for a couple of months now and it is excellent for the money. Can't speak for the Freeview receiver as I only watch recorded shows on a NowTV box or DVDs, but the picture is good quality, no blur (watched a lot of Olympics).
