Batman Arkham VR is priced between £45 and £55 for the game on disk across several UK retailers, however the PlayStation store is selling (pre-order) the digital edition of the game for just £15.99, saving £28.86 if you'd have pre-ordered it from Simply Games or Shopto, £34 from Game, £38.98 from Gamestop and finally £39 from Zavvi

I posted this on my blogs (Pain and Game) Facebook page yesterday and have had over 2000 views in less than 24 hours. I figured with that amount of views in such a short amount of time it can't be common knowledge yet.

I don't think those prices will be the final prices at those shops. I think they are placeholders much like the artwork. But heat added anyway because it's by far the best price :smiley:

I phoned Shopto yesterday, they said the distributor sets the RRP and they couldn't believe that the PlayStation store had it so cheap... they were told the RRP was £55 and they thought their price wasn't likely to change.

Really? That shocks me, it's supposed to be quite a short game. £55 is a lot for any title. RIGS started off at that price when it was first listed and it's now £40 on Amazon and Tesco.

Nice post.. Personally I have to get this tangibly and suck it up because I'm that kind of guy, but for folk less scrupulous this is a great deal :smiley: really got my fingers crossed on this one..

Described as "an experience" not a game. Supposed to be about 90 minutes long! If that's the case then it's overpriced at £15.99 let alone the prices retailers have it for. Shopto are full of crap if they say the rrp is £55, been confirmed as a budget release.

55 quid for a tech demo...verrrry much doubt it. 19.99 tops for it id say on physical release. More likely to be the same price as the until dawn VR game. 17.99
