Amazon has just dropped the price on the Chromebook Flip to £199.99 again. It has been this price (and less) before but not since the announcement that it will be one of the first Chromebooks to get access to Android apps.

Is this actually made out of Chrome?

I know. Atrocious. Apple have gotten away with it for years with the Macbook, which I found I was unable to read, nor did it keep me dry in the rain. Something must be done.

Nice find. If this had a SIM card slot, I'd be all over it. :sunglasses:

Nah, I'd need a SIM Slot & Cell Radio to jump.

Pretty sure it can't, but this is the 4gb version which is plenty for Chrome OS.

I got one of these to replace an ASUS T100 (Windows tablet/netbook hybrid) and I find it much nicer to use than the T100 for most things, and the battery life is much more reliable (both Windows tablets I've got sometimes suffer high battery drain during sleep).
No — RAM is soldered so can't be upgraded.

Was that not implied (albeit omitted) by the sim slot? One without the other is a little terse in manufacture...

Seems like £180 was the cheapest for this model on Amazon.
