I've had nothing but amazing service from A. Why would they not refund on a broken item?? Ive had a year free Prime from them. Prior to that had a few complimentary next day deliveries. Had gift vouchers etc. Any slight issue has been instantly sorted or refunded, sometimes without sending the item back. Nothing but praise. Maybe it depends on how you contact customer service and your attitude towards them (Im always really polite and respectful, as I know how hard they work in customer service with little thanks or respect).

Thanks OP, was just about to buy something.
Really? They're way ahead of the rest when it comes to same day delivery. Price isn't always a motivating factor, sometimes convience is the most important thing. Also didn't they just get bought by Sainsbury's for over a £1Billion?

Wonder if you made a £50 order using just pre orders it'd work?
