I've had nothing but amazing service from A. Why would they not refund on a broken item?? Ive had a year free Prime from them. Prior to that had a few complimentary next day deliveries. Had gift vouchers etc. Any slight issue has been instantly sorted or refunded, sometimes without sending the item back. Nothing but praise. Maybe it depends on how you contact customer service and your attitude towards them (Im always really polite and respectful, as I know how hard they work in customer service with little thanks or respect).

For me, 5 clicks or so to keep forwarding the request for an update on "issue" was no big chore  .

Be persistent. I ended up sending them quite a few messages and got credited the £5 this morning. Good luck!

I got the same email.
I sent the "Printable Order Summary" from my Amazon account, 13/08/16 (ie the start of the offer), can another member confirm if this is incorrect?

Thanks OP, was just about to buy something.
Really? They're way ahead of the rest when it comes to same day delivery. Price isn't always a motivating factor, sometimes convience is the most important thing. Also didn't they just get bought by Sainsbury's for over a £1Billion?

Says it expires on the 16-Aug-2026, so plenty of time to use it.
