They've all been sold off to Chinese/ Turkish/ Slovakian brands, the previous owners would have purchased their yachts with the proceeds, and half the poor sods who worked at these factories are now on benefits.

I'm gogin back 30 years here now, and never has Goodmans or Bush been considered a good brand!, Hitachi were more of industrial type stuff and Grundig ive never really heard of until more recently.
Good Audio has always been the same, the more well known brands of Yamaha & Sony were the most popular, in the 90's its was Techniques and Kenwood.

Why bother. It's got to be dogseggs for that sort of money and 20W. Just blutack a couple of polystyrene cups to your TV speakers, probably get same benefit

Once upon a time, many years ago, Goodmans speakers were amongst the very best available. And Bush, Hitachi and Grundig were also top brands. How things change.......
