My 3 sim only contract was coming to an end so I called up 3 asking for an offer. I quoted an offer from EE which I was going to leave them for if they couldn't beat it (see below).
They offered me 30gb data and unlimited mins for £20 pm which I didnt want (the amazon voucher from EE beat 3), he admitted that was the best he could do so I told him I was leaving and asked for a PAC code to keep my number.
I was then transferred to another guy who offered me a rolling contract with a special one time price for me as I've been with 3 for years, 8gb data unlim mins + texts for £13pm. I took this offer.
Note: I have been with 3 for a long time so this is unlikely to be offered to a newer customer. Also you do not get a personal hotspot (no tethering) and NO FEEL AT HOME. So thats a bummer do there is no contract so I can still leave at any point.

Balls to 3, they lost my business when they decided to double the tariff and boot me off the one plan. Loyal customer of theirs for many years. Stuff em.

I just got the same for £9 a month for a 12 month contract (leveraging the potential loss of two contracts) :man:

I think that's standard. I got the same deal earlier in the year after having been with them for one year. But tethering and feel at home are both included in my deal. The only difference is that previously I had a personal hotspot allowance but under the retention deal tethering comes out of the 8gb data limit.

I've been with 3 for 8 years now and never had this offer BUT I always need a new handset after my contract is at its end :disappointed: That's what bumps mines up. Great deal if its a sim only plan that someone needs!

I switched from Vodafone to Three about a month ago but only started using it a few days ago. Coverage and data speeds are absolutely dire! And this is in North London. I was in King's Cross last night in the open air and 4G download speeds were under 4Mbps! Absolutely ridiculous. In fact the first time I tried to post this comment... BAM, signal drops out.
