My first deal post so go easy people :) Cracking deal for 10 fixed downlights, reduced down from £30! Picked up a set of white a few days ago, I plan to put LED's in and ditch the halogen bulbs. I have looked everywhere and these are the cheapest by far!

They do fit, but avoid the fat type bulbs
and go for the more traditional shaped similar to below

The gu5.3 ones are extra low voltage (12v) so you'd need a different transformer for LED as well as the LED lamp, not fire rated so would not recommend fitting these in any ceiling with a habitable room above

That's a good point Dave. I always prefer to fit the GU10 types then it saves additional power supplies :smiley:
I do have some similar in my bathroom, I'm not sure on the exact regs so might be worth having a google. I think you can fit these in some zones away from water contact of the bathroom but not above the shower etc. Someone else may be able to offer more concrete advice :smiley:
