Yeah agreed. If they turn up organised enough to have an alarm jammer then they deserve my TV. Most burglars are opportunists.

bore off. No alarm is perfect and nothing will stop a truly determined and fully prepared burglar. This will however stop the opportunists quite ably.

Awaits the 'this is no good' ' easily overcome by burglars' 'get proper locks' etc etc. Have some heat.
I purchased this recently for about £190, so this is a great price. Nice bit of kit and easy to install too.
We'd just moved into the house and couldn't afford an expensive system at the time, so this will do as a stop gap.

Yes it's worth the risk. It's far better than having no alarm.
PS. I have locks deadlocks double glazing, not much help if someone smashes through your patio door!

when we had the windows and doors replaced recently we had laminated glass in the double glazed units, a little bit more expensive but quieter and warmer than standard glass and has the benefit of staying in the frame once smashed.

I must ask, are you in the alarm trade?

No, but had an attempted burglary once and a nervous wife since, luckily a dog walker scared the culprits away that time. Since then I'm a self taught security expert
