was in my local B&Q (netherfield, nottingham) last night getting myself one of the cheap dewalt drill kits and noticed pretty much all the barbecue kit was marked down as clearance. i grabbed myself one of the weber chimney starters for £12.07, as they are infinitely better quality than the £5 argos ones doing the rounds
checked this morning, and the price is on the website, so i'm guessing barbecue stuff is now clearance in all stores? i'm holding out for a cheap(er) big green egg or similar kamado cooker though, so b&q didnt have anything else for me. but YMMV
they are still £17-20 everywhere else (amazon, argos, etc)

These are really good, I know you can get them cheaper, but these will last years.

totally, my £5 homebase one was knackered after one summer... these weber ones last considerably longer. the build quality is just *so* much better

Just bought the last one from the Leatherhead store. They do have a load that come with 2kg charcoal and firelighters but they wanted about £18 for that package.

Any reason?
If you want to smoke, then maybe look at a Traeger or Bradley.
You could always build your own Kamado or an UDS

Bargain I paid 23 quid from John Lewis for the starter set. Mind you I've only got it for a little portable BBQ
