Came across this while looking to see where was cheapest at the moment. It's rated "As new" from Boomerang rentals.
Similar to the previous games in the series, Street Fighter V features a side-scrolling fighting gameplay system. The game also introduces the "V-Gauge", which builds as the player receives attacks and adds three new skills. The game features 16 characters at launch, with 4 of them being new to the series. A story mode and additional characters are set to be added in the future through updates and downloadable content.
So the 8GB+ update i left going this morning was just that, a software update... Story Mode is ANOTHER 8GB+ download that must be manually picked from the [PS] Store. Blimey.

They really messed up this game. It's a real shame too, as there's a really good game underneath it. But for those that want value for money, SFV falls short significantly (unless you really just want to play online)

Isnt that what fighting games about playing with others in multiplayer? I'll never understand why people want to play cheating AI in a fighting game. I have played AI in Street Fighter 4 and playing the AI is unbearable. The real value of fighting games is multiplayer.

So Story Mode should already be available. I hope so, i wouldn't mind firing it up when i get home from work :smile:
