It's because 256GB is on the horizon, though this is a good price and not far off the current £/GB price of the 64 and 128 cards - I've found I'm nowhere near filling my 128 still though!

I think there was a production issue in that at the time of production fitting 256gb on a chip was seemingly impossible, it's amazing they've fit 200GB on it. Cracking price too.
Just read up and apparently.
"the reason this card is 200gb, and not 256gb, is simply that the control circuitry used in microsd cards is still too large to allow for more than 200gb of flash memory cells"
