It's because 256GB is on the horizon, though this is a good price and not far off the current £/GB price of the 64 and 128 cards - I've found I'm nowhere near filling my 128 still though!

I think there was a production issue in that at the time of production fitting 256gb on a chip was seemingly impossible, it's amazing they've fit 200GB on it. Cracking price too.
Just read up and apparently.

That's your opinion. Phones only have one slot, so you won't bother carrying multiple cards and risk losing them, you'll just have one big card and pay for the premium.

I think the "premium" you alude to is a rip off. Maybe if the card was 320GB they could justify asking double the price. As it is the card is worth another £20 tops.

200 GB Micro SD and some mobile phone are still limiting their devices to 16 GB with no expansion available. Makes you wonder why.
