Just a warning. The performance of this game at launch was bad enough but on the latest patch it is damn near unplayable, dropping down to 10FPS whenever anything remotely resembling activity is on screen (be it running down a hill or merely shooting). Updates are meant to improve performance but for this game it turned out the other way round. Worse, no word from the dev about if this will ever be fixed. So, buy at your peril.

The frames drop whenever an explosion happens, which in JC3 is nearly all the time (JC = explosions).

as a casual gamer, I have to agree that the lag when blowing things up is really bad

But it's just during explosions right? Not throughout the game

considering 70% of the missions involve blowing **** up, its practically most of the game.

Yep, and there's that too. Widely reported crashes.

As I mentioned earlier, the Just Cause series might as well be called Just Blow Crap Up. You will be blowing things up for the majority of the game. And no, the frame drops affects when you shoot as well. Or turn the camera too quickly (especially when airborne).
