This does have MU-MIMO and is the R7800, currently the only ones in netgears range that have it are this and the R8500, and the 8500 has a LOT of issues with it due to inferior Broadcom chipset.

does this modem router have importing a blocklist support?
I think so if you enable the parental controls. However DD-WRT also supports this router which has that and a load of extra features.

Actually i've just had a look and they appear to be similar, except the D7800 has an additional port for ADSL and slower processor but does however still have MU-MIMO

No, it's not a modem. You would plug the sky router into this and it will improve your wifi.
