I was going to say exactly the same. Have been to 40 or 50 different stores & don't remember a freezer. That said , i don't think any of them had fridges when they first opened. Think i've been to both Selby & Scunthorpe stores in the past , but would have been years ago.

Times have changed, I just remember going with my mum from school and buying poppets then walking 3 miles ahead of my mum so I wasn't spotted being associated with someone parading home&bargain bags.

It's probably because chillers and freezers are expensive to roll out to lots of stores in one go, as well as their chilled and frozen distribution might not be up to handling lots of stores yet
