Perfect little torch. I have seen it before on Hotukdeals for 25 pound something, so thought this was a good deal too. This price only for Prime members and only for 24hrs.

By giving preferential treatment to their Prime customers Amazon are alienating their other customers.

Cold from me, LedLenser seems nice mechanically and optically but the P series is rubbish electrically - just two switched resistors - unregulated and very wasteful of battery energy.
I don't trust their specifications either. The P14.2 model runs on 4 AA batteries - almost 3 times the capacity of 4 AAA batteries. On low power it is 20% brighter with 20% shorter battery life - like somehow the P14.2 wastes 2/3rds of its battery? Doesn't add up.

It's normal use @ 250 lumens and Boost @ 320 Lumens.
Where did you get 140 Lumens??

And the good thing with torches from the pounds shop is that you never have to replace the batteries.... as the torch has stopped working well before it needs new batteries...

I think we have this one - well we have a LedLenser which takes 4AAAs and came from Amazon - and it's an OK basic torch. But to be honest I'm rather underwhelmed by it. It feels well made and the focus is well designed but that's about it for me. Performance and battery life are OK but nothing to write home about.

Your right, I'm buying more on Ebay these days, especially with smaller items, cheaper, more choice and faster free delivery.

I'm interested to know what torches people do recommend?
I've had a Lenser for a couple of years now and always found it to be pretty good so what other, similar torches are out there?

My main carry around torch is an olight S15R, and I have an LEDLenser M7 for when I go camping.

this torch is powerful for its size and I have one. it makes me laugh when people mention the pound shop. you can't get a brighter torch from the pound shop. I guess you do your daily shop there.
