Direct injection
Exclusive to Hotpoint, this impressive feature promises to remove 100 stubborn stains at just 20 degrees. By premixing water and detergent, the RPD10457J washing machine is able to perform a thoroughly deep clean at lower temperatures for a more economical wash.

Yeah folks should buy this expecting something to go wrong within 2 years but do expect JL to support it well. Hotpoint ain't the brand it used to be.
I've been having a Beko 9kg machine for the past 3 years, used at least 3 times a week and hasn't missed a beat. Significantly cheaper than this as well (as in around the £190 mark at the time).
True, Beko has had their issues with fridges and cookers but these have now been resolved and washing machines have always been fine, IMHO.

I recently took one of these apart, only to find a massive block of concrete sitting at the bottom of it

Every machine I've ever seen has a large block of cement (or whatever) it's used to stop the machine moving across the floor when spinning.

We have the 8kg version. The 20 degree cycle is useless for removing stains.
Better on 40 degree. Only got ours as it was 250 quid.
