I wish I wasn't addicted to my cars but sadly I am and usually change every two years (never a new one due to depreciation). Leasing has been the best thing I've ever done. A brand new car with zero unexpected repairs for two years and in the case on the R a fantastic car as well.

Surely one of the best deals so far?

The Estate deal from April was cheaper.
Oh and it should be £6,871.34

I know it's horses for courses and I do understand car leading and who it works for and who it doesn't, but £7k to borrow a Golf for two years...... I just couldn't do it.
Good deal if you would be looking to buy one new and chop it in in two years time though, but I suspect very few people do that anyway.

Quite a lot of people take car allowance instead of company car and these kind of deals suit them very well.

Don't worry, you're not alone! This is a great deal for what it is, if you're inclined towards leasing... but borrowing something for 2 years for £7,000 just seems insane to me. You can get some lovely cars for £7,000 and you'll still have something to show for it after 2 years!
Oh well each to their own  and all these people leasing brand new cars means more second hand bargains for the rest of us to pick up in the future lol.

Think of it another way.
You want a new car, 15k these days gets you a Ford Fiesta.
I've currently got a 28k Octavia which has cost under 5k to lease for 2 years.
If I continue to lease, which I expect to do so, I'll have spent perhaps just more than a Fiesta and had a far nicer car imo which is never over 2 years old.

A lot of people, update a car after two years and if so, this makes a lot of sense

Look at it this way. If you were inclined to buy this car new then the likelihood is you'd pay more than £7k in depreciation over the 2 years. It might not make sense to you but leasing can be a very cost effective way to drive a new car and this is a pretty good deal for a car like this.

I used to know a guy with a Stagea import which was amusing and this is nearly as fast. It just reminds of one of those because you can chuck it around too :stuck_out_tongue:

Having just leased a Qashqai through Gateway2Lease I can highly recommend them.
I know the previous deal for Gateway2Lease was pulled from the site before for the following reasons:
"This was removed as the thread breached our site rules and the actual seller of the item is suspended from our platform."
Not sure it will hang around on here long if that is still the case.
