Seems like prices are dropping, lowest price for a 980 Ti in the UK so far I believe, says it will be in stock on July 19 so will have to wait a few days for delivery.

Why? £30 more for a 1070. Not worth it at all.

This isn't a low enough price to warrant buying a brand new 980ti, winter is coming..

Good price for SLI if you already have one.

I'd probably flog the 980Ti and with the £350 here you're most of your way to a 1080.

This is a very good price for an excellent card. The 1070 from EVGA is £409 on Amazon and its out of stock. Yes it more powerful but its more expensive. If you are in the market for a High end card you would struggle to beat this deal at this moment in time. Fact

Could you buy this and use evga step up program when 1070 prices fall?

The step up program is only available if you live in the US, no?

980ti SLI (if you can deal with all the issues) is generally more powerful than a 1080

It's available in Europe too, but given that you can only do it for 90 days after purchase, there's zero chance of 1070 prices having come down any before it expires.
