These are brilliant, we've replaced our full-size with one. hard floors downstairs, carpets up.
previous poster was half correct.
I believe the "absolute" comes with a hepa filter where the rest don't , so if allergens are a priority might be worth going for that.
The rest are much of a muchness and the best model depends on how you'll use it most of the time....hardfloors - fluffy, handheld - animal, carpets - total/absolute etc.
head over to your nearest electrical retailer, most have Dyson stands where you can have a mess about with them in person.

Decent bit of kit
Downsides , 20 minutes on a full battery charge , the filter inside the dust collectors should be removable as it clogs up underneath ( I use air duster to blast them out . Worth getting a genuine 2nd removable filter off amazon or eBay (goes in the top) so you can swap and clean the old one on a regular basis

Not as good as 5 yr gurantee like the one i got but DC50.. Maybe u dont get 5 yr with V6?
The halfords one doesn't appear to come with the longer pole, just the short motorised brush. I've got a v6 animal and it's awesome for those daily quick vacuums around the house. I've got a 4 bed house over two floors and do half one day, half the next and it works brilliantly

Yes your right! The one at halfords is just the handheld! Personally would get a bad back with that one!!
