Cheap deal for Civ 6 on PC. This is £49.99 from Steam directly. £26.99 for a Steam key is a bargain.

Please stop pre-ordering games. Especially digital ones, they're not going to run out.

Civ V was released SIX years ago.
In fact if you look at the chronology on wikipedia, you will see that this is the longest break between proper Civilization versions since the first one was released in 1991.
If you're counting 'Beyond Earth' for some reason, just don't.

I don't think people buy games to hold value. They buy them to play them. If your a fan of the series like me you probably want to play it as soon as possible so why wait years to save a few quid? Divide those pounds by the hundreds of hours of fun you have, its probably more than worth it. That said it could suck, who knows. £26.99 doesn't seem much at all for such a new and big game.

Bought this but hope it doesn't go down in price straight away. Good price for release date though.

I've never bought a pre-purchase from CDKeys before, how do they work? Do you get a redeemable key straight away, or just an agreement that they'll deliver one by release date?
You don't need either a facebook or an email, just press submit and it will give you the code.
You'll get one by release date. They will send you an email with a link to a page that includes a scan of the CD key.

I play Civ 5 and AE yet I'm not sure about this one. Think its going to need to be a lot cheaper to get me to bite, to many changes I don't like so far from what they have shown.

That goes double for Civilization base games imo since it'll probably turn out that you also need to buy a handful of DLC to make the game what it should be.
It just wouldn't be an HUKD Civ deal without Elevation commenting on the game's spelling of the title

I'd normally be looking forward to a new Civ game, but this time I'm not so sure.
Cartoony graphics and too soon after the last game. I'd rather they added another expansion pack to Civ V or Beyond Earth.

Very tempted to pre order this one as I know that I'll eventually buy it anyway. I just really really hope that they break with tradition and the game is released without any major bugs...!
I have bought every Civ game and have thoroughly enjoyed them all but the state of some of the releases is a little shocking at times.
Heat added and thanks OP
meh - Caved and bought, I'm too weak :disappointed:
