I bought one of these from Amazon Warehouse Deals a couple of years ago, for a similar price. Would not be without it now!
Second generation of Breville hot water dispenser
Fast boil 3 kW concealed element for maximum efficiency and easy clean
Variable single cup dispense -- choose from nine different cup sizes
Manual stop allows you to control flow of water
Large 2 litre illuminating water tank with extra-large rear water window
Never had an issue with it not heating the water enough. Makes a great cuppa. The tea bags are more important in my eyes. Just checked temp on mine for anybody who's interested and it hits the cup at 80c.

it gives you warm water but not boiling hot water . so if you want a real hot cup of tea then this is not for you.

Total CARP I would love you to put your hand under mine, it would take your skin off. They wouldn't sell any if they were like that.

For those of you who say it doesn't boil the water, you do realize that it is the pressure from the boiling water that forces it out of the heating chamber, up the tube and out the spout? Granted it may lose a few degrees on the way out, but it was boiling when it left. Works on the same principle as an old Goblin Teasmade.

Yup, tried this. Not hot enough for tea, and takes ages if you need to do four mugs.

Thats true, it does take ages to boil it 4 times, but thats not what it was designed for. Perhaps you would be better with a kettle.

Thanks for the heads up.
Just ordered as the last one of these i had packed up 2 weeks ago.
I have added Amazon Protect 4 year Breakdown & Accidental Damage Cover for Small Kitchen Appliances from £30 to £39.99 @ £8.50 because the last 2 of these give up after 18/24 months.
I have a breville one cup and it gets the water boiling hot every time. My friend has one too different model but still breville and that one is also boiling hot water. If you do get a crap one that won't boil its Amazon so returning it won't be a problem.

Don't listen, its total bull, these machines are great, as shown by the person above who just ordered another. Shame that it broke but nothing lasts forever and as everything, it all depends on use. Mine gets a lot af use and is about 2 and a half years old but I don't have a clue how long it will last, and I will buy another when it goes. Great price, thanks OP.

Or you just got a bad one. If mine was special, no one would buy them.

Note: Doesn't actually dispense boiling water, despite "fast boil" element.
