There is DLC for the 1st BioShock (Challenge Rooms) but it was a PS3 exclusive, it's going to be included with the Remaster on all platforms.

You'll likely need more power to, for example, run the game at "High - 1080p/60fps" on the remastered version than you would to run the game at "High - 1080p/60fps" on the original version, because "High" on the remaster will have better graphics than "High" on the original.

The developers will assume, absolutely correctly, that the average gaming PC in 2016 has significantly more RAM, CPU and GPU power available than it would have in 2007 (BioShock) or 2010 (BioShock 2). Bear in mind, the original BioShock is a nigh on decade old game now...
