Found this while looking for a new phone for the Mrs as her iphone 5 is getting a bit slow. Iphone 6 Space grey/silver/gold 16GB all available like new on o2 refresh and for only £189.99. I know its 16GB but its only £189.99 almost close to moto g prices so that's not too bad Shirley?
To get the price to £189.99 click on Almost Perfect on 16GB then choose the tariff which is 20GB Data £69.99 upfront and £5 monthly device payment plan.
So Upfront £69.99 +
£5 x 24 = £120 = Total £189.99
Better get back to work the wifey thinks I'm talking to somebody called Shirley.....
For those that are fearful of an early termination fee...
Step 1 : Buy phone as above with the above listed plan.
Step 2: Wait for phone to arrive. Once it has arrived put the O2 sim into the phone and make a 10-20 second phone call to activate the phones IMEI on O2's system (You need to do this if you want to unlock the phone to use any sim card)
Step 4: Once unlock request is done it takes 1-7 days to unlock. I would recommend you wait until the phone is unlocked before doing the next step.
*update* It seems you don't need to wait for the unlock to complete before cancelling. You must however request the unlock and confirm with o2 on the phone that unlock is processing before cancelling airtime contract just to be on the safe side.
Step 5: Once the phone is unlocked successfully ring 02 and tell them you want to pay off the device plan which should be £5 x 24 = £120 and you want to also at the same time cancel the airtime. Now o2 customers services representatives are known to be a bit slow so you might need to speak to someone who is on the ball. They should then cancel the airtime and you would have paid off the phone so you have a fully unlocked iPhone 6 for only £189.99.
PS: Some people have stated that o2 sometimes do not cancel the airtime contract part and they get sent bills afterwards, to avoid this I would recommend after you have cancelled the airtime after a few hours or days contact o2 support again and confirm that they have cancelled the airtime plan and get them to confirm in writing.
I know its a bit of a long winded way to get the phone but if all goes well should be worth it

Great price and it gives a chance for some people who maybe haven't had much luck in life and at the bottom of the life ladder to have an exceptional rich mans phone Heat op

You probably need to just explain the refresh system before you're frozen

Yes please explain how this works. Also if you need to use this on another network are there additional costs to unlock?
Thanks :smirk:

Do they have other offers like this on iPhones? Or do you know if deals like this seem to just pop up every now and again? Thanks

Was this a glitch, as I only see £69.99 and £35 a month, not £5 a month ??

No, £5pm is for the handset. Refresh contracts are seperate; £30pm for the Airtime and £5pm for the Phone. Cancel the Airtime (as above) and pay off the phone to get the deal.

Yes it is the £69.99 upfront and £35 tariff, but you are going to be cancelling the airtime contract, so you are not paying the £35 per month.

Are O2 not aware that people do this in order to receive phones at low prices?

Of course, but they probably rely on the same thing as cashback deals. Very few people will use the deal this way, and not all of those will cancel everything successfully - or they will just forget etc

Ive asked this before. 02 must know as refresh is advertised frequently on here. I can't believe they haven't stopped this. Or if they know people do this then just sell the handset.
