I've been keeping my eyes open for a deal like this. Yes, it's easy to build a console killer, but many people can't be bothered to build their own machine, which usually end-up being over twice the price and much bigger. The Alpha is closer to the cost of a PS4 or Xbox One, plus it's the size of a Wii. Perfect for people like me, who want to join the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race ;)
Base model (£386) features Intel i3 processor / 4GB memory / Nvidia 'GTX' graphics. In my opinion, the best value option (£566) is i5 / 8GB / GTX 960.

I don't disagree, though I'd also consider the cost of PSN or Xbox Live. This deal isn't about absolute cost, however -- I'm trying to help people who want a PC but at the size of a console and close (but not equal to) console cost.

Gtx960 is comparible with the Xbone but with slightly better shaders and much higher frame rate.
Console of your choice = ~£200 leaves you £180~£200 to find a laptop

Yes and what do you think comparible means, do yyo think it means exactly the same? it is comparible in every way but those I mentioned, most people will be using this PC gaming console on TVs at 60hz or 60hz monitors, if they are planing to play the latest games on the same settings as a console the 960 may not even hit 60fps 1080p.
