Pre-order for what is sure to be a highly anticipated game. Also think that it will become quite rare in years to come - much like what happened with Twilight Princess on Gamecube.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Product Description
Choose Platform: NintendoWiiU
Set out for adventure once again in this unique new game in the beloved The Legend of Zelda franchise, built exclusively for the Wii U platform.
The newest game in The Legend of Zelda franchise, scheduled for 2015, introduces the first truly open world in a game from the series. Players can roam Hyrule Field or set off on a trek to distant mountains if they prefer. Players can get to any area they can see from virtually any direction. That's one of the ways the game breaks with franchise norms and introduces new ways to play.

Thanks for the option, but i'm not pre-ordering a Wii U game for £40 if it isn't a collectors edition of some sort.
Plus it's not even out until 2017.

Aye, not a very good deal, I'm sure it will be available for less closer to launch.
If I was a cynic, I'd say Prankster is just tying to drum up some traffic for his website.

What a ridiculous "deal". The game is at least 9 months away from release. And how is this a deal? This will easily be available around launch and at a much better price.

This is freezing, I posted a deal £8 of its average preorder price and get downvoted into oblivion but because it's Zelda this guy gets a pass ? Absolute b*****ks

There will be two versions, with the NX version being "different".

Also says "scheduled for 2015"! Think the text is a bit out of date. I'll be waiting for the "better" NX version, but you're right - this might become a bit of a collector's item in years to come.

If the NX as a console looks meh then I'll certainly get the Wii U version. Not buying a new console just to play a game a bit better.

surely it will be better than Wii U? no? I mean can anything be worse?
PS : I own a Wii U and think it's good.only 10 years late.

Looking to buy the Wii U version - partly because it will indeed become a collector's item in future, but also because I have no intention of buying the NX. If only because I've been burned one too many times with Nintendo machines over the last decade.
They said the games will be identical and NX will only have better visuals. No point in picking up both of them. NX will likely have far better performance as well.

Have it on pre-order at Amazon since January and the price has been decreased to £38.99 but still not that great and I'm not sure if I'll even get the Wii U version 'cause the NX port will probably be much better, graphically that is.

I talk about my experiences with my Wii U here.

This is more like a heads up, I'd say.
