Amazon is selling Taylors coffee beans Rich Italian (strenght 4) 2x1kg only £15.83, also free delivery if you spend £20.
I've tried many beans since I own my lovely Delonghi Magnifica bean-to-cup machine and always come back to this coffee it is so good, beating Lavazza and overpriced Illy in my opinion and for this price especially. Works out under £8 a kilo but you can have it even cheaper with subscribe & save 5%off.
Hope it helps someone, check out great reviews too.

The problem with a 1kg bag is shelf life once it is opened.

Just try Italian Job directly from RAVE Coffee.
Freshly roasted beans by reputable roasters.
They about £9.50 a kilo (plus £2.50ish delivery for orders under £25)
So fresh that you should wait 7-10days for the beans to de-gas properly.
Not the Amazon old beans.

Always found rave coffee a bit hit and miss, Colombian Suarez was always a good choice after they stopped doing the cuban serrano superior, the new dark Chatswood blends not bad though.
Good deal on this if you are getting through it fast.

Yes many coffee "experts" say you should keep beans in the freezer, I think ground coffee in the fridge also which is what I do. I think it has something to do with the preservation of the flavour of the coffee
