I got this when it was free for a short time on the Amazon app years ago. It is really cool. However I rarely remember to use it when I sleep. 50p is a bargain, I am thinking to buy it again on Play store in order to stop using the Amazon store.

Optimum time? Sounds like I've got the morning off work tomorrow :stuck_out_tongue:

How's it know when you've fallen asleep to know what your sleep cycle is?

That's the flaw with it - you have to tell it when you're sleeping, even with an Android Wear watch.

It detects sleep modes by measuring how often you move during the night. There is less movement in the deep phases of sleep than in the lighter phases. Anything that isn't attached to your brain won't be able to detect sleep phases any more accurately, unfortunately. I had high hopes for the UP3 and its bioimpedance, but reviews say it hasn't really lived up to expectations.
Anyway. At 50p this is steal, considering I bought this for a few pounds a few years back. The only reason I stopped using the sleep tracking was due to battery drain on my Nexus 4. Hopefully it doesn't use up too much battery on my new phone.
