Just bought one of these at my local Aldi store (Eccles, Salford). Last one on the shelf, excellent pride!

got one of these a couple of weeks ago, all the black ones were gone.
Works great, not as fast as my previous kettle (which broke and was returned to argos)

Surely, then, this is infinitely faster than your old kettle?

They don't even exist any more - from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Hobbs#Russell_Hobbs_Inc 'the brand is currently licensed by electrical distributor RKW Ltd and used for a range of small domestic appliances' - in other words any crap manufacturer can use it fro a fee.

Russell-Hobbs toaster from Aldi, it only lasted two weeks, it blew up all my fuses at home. Rubbish brand.

Dreadful. About to return ours. The water filter snapped off within a week ( its a flimsey plastic thing). If I can't return it, maybe somebody wantsal a free kettle
