Just a heads up - My Local convenience stores which took over from Morrisons Local last year are going into administration. Tomorrow everything will be reduced by 50% including alcohol but excluding baby formula, tobacco and pain killers. On Sunday everything will be reduced by 70%.

We can therefore confirm that if no buyer is found, and stores close, we will welcome our former colleagues back to a job at Morrisons.”

You must be joking, Morrisons can barely afford their own staff as it is, let alone bring in anyone who was hired AFTER Morrisons sold their M Local stores.

I was informed that only 12 of the my local stores are having the sale this weekend. Morrisons have issued the above statement but have also said that they will welcome back ex colleagues within 6 months!!
