They may not be great speedwise, but the form factor is excellent. I've got half a dozen of these with different boot systems and utilities on them, and they take up almost no space. Easy to carry in a wallet.

Heat.... These are great for carrying a few files and music/movies because of the metal loop.... You'll never lose it.
Most USB drives have a carrying loop on the lid (totally useless because you end up losing the drive but end up with a nice collection of lids).

I think you should really state USB 2 or 3 drive in the title to clarify it is only USB, great find still Kudos, excellent for having some hard wearing pen drives for OS images and bootable recovery pen drives as not too worried about speed if you comapre that to doing a DVD install.

Deadly slow but exceptionally robust - possibly too robust as an accidental heavy knock in situ may destroy an expensive USB port rather than damage a cheap flash drive.

Might appear robust but wasn't very reliable. Hasn't completely failed but quite temperamental. Mine was the gold coloured one, imagine they're the same model. Shame as it was otherwise perfect.
