Posted the i3 version earlier this week from Laptops direct, it is now available for £249 from tesco. Looking at the sale price, this now seems like the best bargain.
Core i5 and an SSD for sub £300, can't complain at that.
Hi everyone, this seemed the best place to write this so everyone could read. Once you've set this laptop up, you honestly will be very impressed and happy. From shut down to ready to go, takes approximately 9 seconds thanks to the 128gb ssd. It really is a very quick laptop with no lag. I mainly use it for browsing, and modifying an online e store. So I'm confident whoever orders this laptop will be really happy with the value for money they get.

Good price. Would like to stick another 4Gb ram and change the SSD to 256. Wonder how easy would it be to do both on this

Both would be easy enough. About a 5 minute job to replace the drives and ram. The ghosting of the drive would be another 5/10 thanks to the ssd's

I might get this as a desktop replacement. It has a VGA and a HDMI port that I could plug an external monitor into, plus I get the portability option when I need it.

Hot price for the specs. Personally though I feel 15.6" chunky laptops are a bit too much unless they're going to be on a desk all the time. It's a shame very few of the deals are for 13.3" or 14". Good spot though.
