There was some useful discussion and links in the comments, including owner pics and views when they bought the set.

In case you missed in other AO threads, I won't buy until this is fixed...
*If you've used the product (switched the TV on)
We're happy for you to unpack the item and inspect it properly, however, if you've used or installed it, we will only make a partial refund to cover the loss in value of the product. Please note, this could be up to 50% of the price of the item. Your refund will be made within 14 days of collection.
This may not be legal though it is happening.

For 4K you really need a size like this to get the benefits. No point having a 40" 4K tv then sitting quite far away.

£719.10 is almost as low as the £30 off plus £50 trade in price- just with a code!
AO.com were excellent with TV returns but a lot of people on various technology forums having issues now it seems.

Would rather the 6 year warranty as richer sounds did

Flipping heck, how big must people's living rooms be? I can see this working in a commercial setting though, because after all you're only really going to notice the 4k / HD difference when you get closer than two metres away.
