utterly cold £560 is too much for ANY gpu, how did we get to this point where people think nigh on £600 for a gpu is even acceptable is beyond me.Probably costs them £50 to make it's not even a full copper heatsink laughable price.

If this doesn't get hot nothing else will until these start to sell for sub £500 in a few months time.
If I was in a market for one I'd be all over this one.
Great find OP hot!

Amazing price. Just can't justify dropping >£500 on a single component.

Lol, you're dreaming, what a dream though lol again, 450W! and Crossfire won't be consistent in every game. Good luck though.

I don't think that this would be money well spent for me as I only game at 1440p and my 980Ti seems adequate at the moment. Tempting though if I could get a reasonable return now on the 980?

Holding out for the Ti myself, the resale value of these will plummet the second those hit.
Just can't see the point of selling my 980 Ti and paying £140 extra just for ~15 more fps

Prices are all over the place. Guess that's not really new for GPUs at launch but the F's Edition has lead to a lot of confusion. The AIBs are probably wondering why they should sell their better and more expensive cards for less than the F's Edition. Guess they are all watching what the other ones do.
Mind you, Gigabyte are quite capable of cheaping out on components: I remember complaints about 7950 and 7970 where after the reviews the went for a cheaper voltage control chip which meant those cards became voltage locked. Not good for extreme overclocking or for those trying to undervolt. While over-volting may damage cards, I cannot see any good reason why an AIB would disable undervolting.

I had 4 of the borked 7950 windforces which I had got bitcoin mining. Dabs gave me full refunds on all 4 due to massive voltage issues. Got myself a windforce gtx 970 atm and very happy with it.

Usually with the launch of a new graphics card, you should wait until well after launch - a couple of months for the prices to stabilise and the first bargains to hit, or a few months for the first game bundles (my money's on November for the 1070/1080).
With the Founder's Edition ridiculousness, it's overwhelmingly true now. We've waited nearly two years. What's a few more weeks? Sell your current card and travel around Australia for a month.
